The Bible tells us that a good man leaves an inheritance for his children’s children’s children.

That raises an important question.

When should you start thinking about building that inheritance?

After high school?

When you get a job?

When you have your first child?

When you buy your first home?

When you get life insurance?

Or should the planning begin long before any of those milestones?

To me, an inheritance is about much more than money. It’s about knowledge, values, discipline, relationships, opportunities, businesses, investments, and real estate. Money can be spent. Wisdom can last for generations.

That’s one of the reasons we created the Buy The Hood Financial Literacy Camp. We want young people to start thinking about wealth, ownership, and legacy now, not decades from now.
