I’ve been sitting with these images for three months.

Our photographer captured something I don’t have words for — the particular quality of that night, that room, those people. The moment everything changed, twice, nineteen minutes apart.

I’ve shared the birth story now. You know the details — the homeopathic induction, the castor oil, the hours of waiting for a body that had been ready for weeks. Benny born OP at 10:01pm. Dash ready to arrive less than ninety seconds later, breech, en caul, into a room that had no idea what was coming.

But the story in words is one thing. These images are something else entirely.

They are the proof that it happened. That it was real. That two little boys came into this world exactly the way we hoped they would — at home, surrounded by everyone we love, held by the same hands that have held every version of this family.

I am so grateful we documented it.
