Before Annual Passes became the norm, there was the Universal Studios Fan Club.

This 1985–1988 membership card gave holders discounts on Studio Tour admission, merchandise, hotels, restaurants, and even rental cars. These cards were commonly distributed through participating businesses, corporations, and promotional partners, making them a unique piece of Universal Studios history.

It’s fascinating to look back at how Universal rewarded its biggest fans long before today’s Pass Member program existed.
