The PortOfBrownsvilleTX has completed the Brazos Island Harbor Ship Channel deepening, partly supported by a $43 million state loan thanks to historic funding from the Texas Legislature. The additional 10 feet of channel depth holds larger vessels, improving efficiency, enhancing safety and supporting more than 7,000 jobs in the Rio Grande Valley. #TxDOTMaritime
