A magnificent display of pure grit and resilience in Antigua 🏏🌴 West Indies staged a spectacular, fighting counter-recovery on Day 3 of the second Test, battling their way to 318/4 at stumps to frustrate Sri Lanka's big ambitions. 

After Sri Lanka posted a colossal 549/9 declared, the hosts found themselves under massive pressure early in the day. John Campbell laid a fine foundation with a superb 72, but a quick double strike from left-arm spinner Prabath Jayasuriya (2-77) suddenly left the Windies rocking at a precarious 144/4. With the threat of a follow-on looming large, Shai Hope (86)* and Justin Greaves (85)* stepped up to play the ultimate rescue act. The pair displayed composure, combining for an undefeated, record-breaking 174-run partnership for the 5th wicket to shut shop and handle the visitors' bowling attack for 54 long overs. Moving within just 31 runs of avoiding the follow-on, the hosts have put themselves in an excellent position heading into the final stages 🔥
