When you travel as often as I do, you quickly learn which bags actually hold up. I’m careful about what I recommend, so these are products I’ve personally used, tested and would invest in again, with durability and a good warranty always high on the list.

After 50+ flights a year, these are the travel bags I rely on most:

🧳 A durable suitcase
I invested in a Rimowa a few years ago and haven’t regretted it. Rimowa, Victorinox and Tumi are all great options for cases, zips and wheels that can handle plenty of trains, planes and automobiles. Just remember to check the exact measurements against your airline’s restrictions.
🧳 A solid carry-on tote
Big enough for your laptop, water bottle, book and in-flight essentials, but still easy to carry through the airport. Bonus points for zipped compartments or an organiser insert.
🧳 A weekender or overnight bag
Perfect for shorter trips, road trips or as a larger carry-on when you need a little more than the basics.
🧳 A secure everyday bag
I always look for zipped compartments, a crossbody strap and something versatile enough to work from sightseeing to dinner.
🧳 A passport case or travel wallet
Ok not a “bag” per se but I used to think these were purely decorative, however they really do help protect your passport when it inevitably ends up at the bottom of your carry-on.
