jo0ji first gained attention after uploading a song he wrote for a friend, “Fukutsu ni Hana,” to YouTube. Since then, he has emerged as one of Japan’s most compelling new artists, earning recognition through Spotify’s RADAR: Early Noise program and appearing on multiple “artists to watch” lists.

The son of a fisherman, jo0ji’s music is deeply rooted in the coastal landscapes and working-class spirit of his hometown.
