🌲 We’re reaching new heights in reforestation!

Recently, we launched the first-ever CAL FIRE Tree Climbing and Cone Collection Class, training personnel in specialized tree climbing techniques that will support critical forest management and reforestation efforts across California.

CAL FIRE participants from across the state learned how to safely access the upper canopy of trees to conduct surveys and gather cones containing the essential seeds for future reforestation projects.

These skills will help expand our ability to collect and survey the resources needed to grow the next generation of California forests.

By investing in specialized training, we are strengthening our capacity to restore landscapes, improve forest resilience, and ensure healthy forests for generations to come. ✨
