From player to captain, coach to mentor, his journey through the game has been built on service, commitment and a passion for helping others succeed.

Success is about more than results. It’s about creating an environment where players grow, challenge themselves, support each other and take pride in wearing the Army jersey.

Wess’s playing career spans representative rugby across the Royal Engineers, Army Rugby, Army Sevens and Combined Services, alongside successful spells in the civilian game.

His experiences at every level have helped shape the leader and coach he is today.

Over the years, Wess has developed a reputation for building strong cultures, developing players and creating teams that consistently compete at the highest level.

His coaching journey reflects a commitment to continuous improvement and the development of people as much as players.
