Emily Williams was a healthy, active elementary school teacher who was building the life she had always imagined. She had played competitive soccer, completed a half marathon, and spent her days inspiring students in Ontario, Canada.

Nearly four years later after her stroke, Emily is still navigating one of the most vulnerable aspects post stroke: 

Dating. 

From rebuilding confidence to learning how and when to share her story, Emily refuses to let stroke define her future.

Through setbacks, heartbreak, and hard-earned victories, her advice is to “keep celebrating the millimeters.”
