For alumni Kathy Carlsten, ’97 finance and SC Honors College and ’00 law, and Peter Siachos, ’97 political science, Spanish and SC Honors College, ’00 law, their time in the South Carolina Honors College and USC Joseph F. Rice School of Law helped them discover their passion for litigation and gave them the skills and confidence to succeed in the courtroom.

Today, Carlsten has spent more than 20 years representing clients in defense litigation, while Siachos is a partner at one of the nation's largest law firms. They credit their experiences at USC with helping prepare them for the careers they've built.
