Sunday 7th May 2023, Southampton. This is the place to catch the entire coverage for the inaugural Rebound All-Stars in the event's second season. The independently organised event is set to be a sold out all ticket affair, celebrating the best of the NBL and WNBL D1 with three contests and two showcase games. The stream will cover the entire event! With commentary led by John Hobbs and special guests. EVENT SCHEDULE* (all times BST) * All times could be subject to change. 11:00 - 13:00 Junior Coaching Clinic This year we will have a coaching clinic, Coach Paul Douglas will be leading this. This is the only segment of the event not being streamed. 13:00 Doors open 13:30 Skills contest The Skills contest involves Faye Endean (Team Solent Kestrels), Alia Shabrawy (Loughborough Riders), Carolina Marques (Worcester Wolves) and Ruchae Walton (London Lions II) 14:30 three-point contest The 3-point contest combines shooters from the men and the women. Saiao SanFrancisco (Reading Rockets), Jordan May (Team Newcastle University), Fatmata Janneh (London Lions II), Andre Gaye (Manchester Magic), Liv Forster (Ipswich), Seth Hall (Nottingham Hoods), Kyron Martin (Team Solent Kestrels) and Carolina Marques (Worcester Wolves) 15:30 The Women's game has some amazing stars led by either 2x All-Star captain Alia Shabrawy and 2x All-Star Lindsey Cleary. 17:30 Dunk Contest The dunk contest will include Ilias Taiwo (Team Solent Kestrels), Victor Olarerin (Thames Valley Cavaliers), Zack Powell (Reading Rockets and Jacob Stanuel-Taite (Westminster Warriors 18:30 Mens All Star game Our captains Jordan Whelan and Taylor Johnson have talented pool of players for this year's event even in light of missing stars it will be an amazing game. Taylor Johnson is out for a clean sweep of single game MVP awards, and back-to-back All Stars MVP award. Team Johnson combines the strengths of the players from the top-two seeds in the NBL and other amazing talent. Team Whelan is out to show that NB D1 is stacked and his almost northern team will beat Johnson and his star-studded guys! ABOUT REBOUND Rebound Basketball LTD became a limited company in 2022. Rebound through Chris Hughes has been promoting the NBL and British Basketball for the last 4-5 years.
