## Caption

A house fire was reported to Unified Fire Authority crews Tuesday morning in Holladay. When firefighters arrived, they found a fully engulfed attached garage at a single-family home. All occupants evacuated safely, but the homeowner reported that his dog was still in the basement.

Firefighters immediately launched an aggressive attack on the fire while crews conducted an interior search. The dog was found unharmed and safely reunited with its owners.

Crews worked for more than 45 minutes to bring the fire under control. The fire spread to the first floor of the home, causing significant damage, and one vehicle was destroyed. Firefighters' efforts also protected neighboring homes, preventing the fire from spreading.
