The 2026 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count has wrapped up. As the Regional Coordinator for the Youth Count in the San Gabriel Valley, Sycamores was proud to help ensure young people experiencing homelessness in our community were seen and counted.

The Sycamores team led outreach efforts, with dedicated staff and volunteers going into the field to connect with unhoused youth. We are deeply grateful to everyone who participated in this meaningful effort.

Counting youth is about more than numbers, but the numbers matter. They help show the true scope of youth homelessness so funding and resources can be directed where they’re most needed, strengthening housing solutions and services that support young people on their path to a better life.
