Every week we're counting down the three best throws in college football. It's all made possible by  @lighthelmets. LIGHT is the best helmet in the game no countdown needed. 

My name is Jordan Palmer. I'm a quarterback consultant working with youth football players to NFL guys, and I just always want to celebrate this position. 

If you're here, I appreciate you.

At number three this week, you just got to appreciate a good Lane Kiffin quote. I'm a big fan of his and what he's building in Oxford.

I also really like what his quarterback has been able to do down there. Jaxson Dart, the pride of Corner Canyon High School out in Utah is slinging it for Ole Miss. 

Then him and his running back pose for some picks right on that A & M logo. Tough look if you're an Aggie, but the Rebels are feeling frisky heading into the last few games of this season.

At number two, I love backup quarterbacks making plays. There's just something about a guy making the most of an opportunity. Can't help but cheer for it. 

Second best throw I saw this week is from Will Howard playing in Manhattan, Kansas by way of Downington, Pennsylvania. 

Will had 225 yards and two touchdowns against TCU and then followed that up with 296 yards and four touchdowns against Oklahoma State in this game.

New number on the jersey this year for Will and a whole lot of numbers Kansas State fans like getting tallied up in his box score. 

In the top spot, the guy everyone was clamoring for. We put a picture of his Dad as our backdrop this week. It's North Carolina's own, Drake Maye. 

The people who know about this dude are freaking out about him and rightfully so, but I don't know if the casual college football fan is aware we got a true freshman leading the country in touchdowns.

This toss is gorgeous. Drop in the bucket.
