Ramsey County is hosting a free lead testing and resource fair on Wednesday, Oct. 22, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Battle Creek Recreation Center. Community members can:

🪀 Bring any household items, like dishes, toys, spices, or jewelry to see if they contain lead.
🩸 Get a free capillary blood lead test to see if you or your child has been exposed to lead.

Both tests are free, safe, and results are available right away. Staff from community agencies and the Minnesota Department of Health will also be on-site to share information about lead hazards and how to prevent lead exposure.
