🍽️ Keep it Safe, Keep it Fun! 🎉 Feasting with family is a holiday tradition—but food poisoning doesn’t have to be! Follow these simple tips from the CDC to keep your holiday meals safe and delicious.

❗️ Pre-Roast Rules:
✔ Avoid preparing any food for others if you have been sick with diarrhea or vomiting in the last 24 hours.
✔ Keep turkey in the freezer until ready to thaw.
✔ Thaw in the fridge, cold water or a microwave, never on the counter.
✔ No need to wash your raw turkey, the cons outweigh the pros and you usually just spread germs around.

🦃 Cook Your Turkey to Perfection:
✔ Turkey should be cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F to ensure it's safe to eat. No guesswork—use a thermometer!
✔ If stuffing was cooked in the turkey, wait 20 mins after removing the turkey from heat before removing the stuffing.

🥘 Don't Let Leftovers Linger:
✔ Cut into smaller pieces and put into fridge within 2 hours of eating.
✔ Eat the leftovers within 4 days.
