Our Statewide Health Improvement Partnership is supporting Horn of Africa Aid and Rehabilitation Action Network in breaking social isolation and bringing health education to East African elders in the St. Peter area. Elders come together twice a month to share a halal meal, learn, and socialize. “We know that people come together over food," said local SHIP staff Leah Mahoney.
