Is your dog your best friend? Us too. We track a fungal infection called blastomycosis in animals because it helps us learn where people might get infected. And we share that information with veterinarians across the state to help them diagnose and treat pets.

This photo is a tribute to Carbon, who died a year ago and was best friend to one of our epidemiologists.
