Heard of Zika? How about CMV? 1 in 200 newborns are born with a cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection, a common virus associated with birth defects. You could be part of our study with the U of M and @CDCgov looking at CMV in newborn dried blood spots. If you are delivering at Allina Abbott Northwestern and United, or Fairview Southdale, Ridges and UMMC/Riverside Hospitals, ask your postpartum nurse about study opportunities.
