In recognition and support of Minnesota women and men who are working to prevent sexual violence, Governor Mark Dayton has declared April “Sexual Violence Prevention Month” in Minnesota. The Governor proclamation states that sexual violence is preventable when there is a change in culture, attitudes and norms that promote acceptance of violence. Our Sexual Violence Prevention program works with other state agencies to change social norms that contribute to sexual violence, while supporting prevention programs throughout the state. #notme #notyou #notus #SAAM
