“So how is Cali Commander different from Duel Commander or Canlander?” Duel Commander is 1v1 Commander with a ban list run by a committee and they use 20 life.  Canlander (Canadian Highlander) is no ban list at all, just a points system. The most powerful cards cost points, you get 10 points per deck. They play with 20 life.  Cali Commander took a different road entirely: the players ARE the committee. Every card’s legality is decided by community vote. Every vote count is public at calicommander.gg. We use 30 life. We are proxy friendly.  Look — Duel Commander and Canlander are great formats run by people who love this game. Play what you love.
