આણંદ જિલ્લાના ઉમરેઠમાં બેંક ઓક્શનના નામે સસ્તા ભાવે સોનું અપાવવાની લાલચ આપી એક કરોડથી વધુની છેતરપિંડી કરનાર મુખ્ય આરોપીની પોલીસે ધરપકડ કરી છે. આરોપીએ 21 દિવસમાં મોટા નફાના વાયદા સાથે 26થી વધુ લોકોને વિશ્વાસમાં લઈ કરોડો રૂપિયા પડાવ્યા હતા. સીલબંધ પેકેટ ખોલતા તેમાં નકલી દાગીના હોવાનું સામે આવ્યું. હાલ પોલીસ વધુ તપાસમાં લાગી છે.
