અમદાવાદની ઐતિહાસિક જગન્નાથ રથયાત્રાની પૂર્વ તૈયારીઓને લઈને મુખ્યમંત્રી ભૂપેન્દ્ર પટેલે ગાંધીનગર ખાતે ઉચ્ચસ્તરીય બેઠક યોજીને સમીક્ષા કરી હતી. રાજ્યભરમાં ૨૩૦ સ્થળોએ રથયાત્રા યોજાનાર છે, જેમાં અમદાવાદમાં સુરક્ષા માટે ૩૧,૦૦૦ પોલીસ કર્મીઓ, ૨૪૦ ધાબા પોઈન્ટ, ૬૫ ડ્રોન અને ૨૮૦૦ થી વધુ બોડી વોર્ન કેમેરાથી ચુસ્ત નિગરાની રાખવામાં આવશે. આ વર્ષે રથયાત્રામાં ૧૦૧ ટ્રકો, ૩૦ અખાડા અને ૧૮ ભજન મંડળીઓ જોડાશે. શ્રદ્ધાળુઓની સુરક્ષા અને આરોગ્ય માટે ૧૦૦ આરોગ્ય કર્મીઓ, ૩૧ ફાયર વ્હીકલ અને ૨૩૭ ફાયર જવાનો તૈનાત રહેશે, તેમજ જર્જરિત મકાનો પાસે ભીડ એકત્ર ન થાય તે માટે મુખ્યમંત્રીએ અમદાવાદ મનપાને ખાસ સૂચના આપી છે.
