As America prepares to celebrate our nation's 250th anniversary, the Minnesota Veterans Home in Preston has been celebrating in a BIG way! 🇺🇸

From patriotic decorations and a trip to the Fillmore County Museum to 13 Colony BINGO and a red, white and blue dress-up day, the Home has been filled with patriotic spirit.

One of the week's most meaningful moments was a Flightless Honor Flight with North Star Honor Flight. Veterans were also surprised with a special "mail call" featuring heartfelt letters from family members and community members thanking them for their service.

The celebration continues with root beer floats and popcorn for staff and a Fourth of July steak dinner and patio party for our Veterans.
