On Friday, the Montevideo Veterans Home had the honor of hosting a very special Vietnam Veterans Day program.

The Home proudly welcomed guest speaker Robert Dahm, who served as a First Lieutenant with the First Infantry Division in Vietnam from 1968–1969. Robert shared powerful, heartfelt stories from his time in service that left a lasting impact on all who attended.

The program was held in the Steven J. Williams Room, a space of deep significance, as Steven himself was a Vietnam Veteran—making the day even more meaningful.

Following the program, Residents, staff and guests gathered for refreshments, sharing time in friendship and fellowship while reflecting on the stories and honoring the service and sacrifice of our Vietnam Veterans.

It was a truly special day. 🇺🇸
