Winter in northern Minnesota can be long, so the Minnesota Veterans Home in Silver Bay keeps things moving with fun seasonal activities. ❄️

New this year is “Body by Jake,” a program led by Physical Therapy Assistant Jake that helps Residents build strength, balance and range of motion through games and friendly challenges.

The Home also recently kicked off its 3rd Annual Vets Home Olympics with a torch parade and a gathering focused on teamwork. Residents and staff are teaming up, competing for points and cheering each other on as they work toward the coveted traveling trophy. 🏅
