## Caption

Residents at the Silver Bay Veterans Home shared the love on Valentine’s Day with a heartfelt (and wonderfully messy!) Hug Shirt project. With painted arms, each Resident wrapped a hug around a t-shirt, added a thumbprint heart and Valentine message — creating a lasting embrace for their loved ones. The project was inspired by a dedicated HST who even came in on her day off, alongside her teenage son.

The celebration continued with our annual Valentine Dinner. Residents and guests enjoyed prime rib and shrimp with all the fixings — including heart-shaped Jell-O and pound cake topped with almond cherry compote made by Residents in the Valor Café using cherries from our garden as part of our Farm to Table program. The evening wrapped up with special photo opportunities, capturing memories to cherish for years to come. ❤️
