Silver Bay Veterans Home thought one day wasn’t enough to honor their Veteran Residents, so they celebrated all week!

The celebrations kicked off with the 250th Marine Corps Birthday, complete with cake, live music and visits from local Marines. Veterans Day was filled with programs, including the MDVA live stream, a program with National Honor Society students and special remarks from Senator Grant Hauschild. Residents enjoyed a fantastic prime rib dinner prepared by our dietary team, and on Wednesday evening, they attended a Veterans Soup Dinner at the local high school, sharing great food and conversation. The week concluded with Staff and Residents enjoying new Resident biographies highlighting those who joined the home this year.

Thank you to all our staff and volunteers who are proud to honor and celebrate the Veterans who call Silver Bay home!
