For those who watched the first yourgolftour event, what did you think?

We came away seriously impressed.

It struck a really interesting balance between legitimate, high-level competition and everything that makes YouTube golf so entertaining. The production quality felt elite—arguably on par with traditional broadcasts—but it still kept the in-cart conversations, player banter, and behind-the-scenes access that make YouTube golf unique.

The golf itself mattered, but they didn’t lose the personality along the way. There was banter, some (maybe slightly manufactured 😅) drama, genuine frustration, humor, and plenty of moments that made the players feel like actual people instead of robots.

If you’re looking for four straight hours of traditional tournament coverage, it might not be your thing.

But if you enjoy competitive golf with real personalities, high stakes, laughs, storylines, and some legitimately great shot-making, this felt like a refreshing change of pace.

The best comparison might be a reality TV version of professional golf—more relatable than the PGA Tour, but still featuring elite-level players competing for meaningful money.

If they can keep this level of production while preserving the player access and personality, they may have found a lane that doesn’t really exist in golf today.
