Why Tanzania? 

Tanzania is one of the world’s poorest countries and is experiencing a rapid increase in cancer cases. Due to limited access to prevention and treatment, the death rate among cancer patients exceeds 80%. This situation is especially tragic for children, as their cancers would have a high rate of curability if they lived in the United States.
