Madison Square Garden is facing scrutiny after a WIRED report revealed details of an internal VIP database that allegedly tracks nearly 40,000 high-profile guests, including celebrities, athletes, executives and media figures.

According to the report, roughly 400 individuals were assigned internal “risk scores” ranging from “Flag” and “Low Risk” to “Medium Risk” and “High Risk,” with assessments reportedly informed in part by online activity and public commentary related to MSG and owner James Dolan.

MSG has strongly disputed the reporting, calling it “inaccurate and false” and stating it is pursuing legal remedies.
