Members of the Kilgore Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. proudly represented the organization at the 50th Southwest Regional Conference held at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas. Under the inspiring theme, "Love, Leadership, and Legacy," more than half of the chapter's membership attended, demonstrating a strong commitment to sisterhood and service!

The chapter was represented by Voting Delegate Soror Tiffany King and Alternate Delegate Soror Dr. Felecia Herndon. Throughout the conference, members engaged in meaningful knowledge sharing, professional development, and powerful discussions that challenged sorors to strengthen their presence on the social action frontline. As the call to action resonated throughout the region, members were reminded: "If not us, then who? If not now, then when?" 

The conference was filled with unforgettable sisterhood vibes as members bonded with one another and connected with sorors from across Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Arkansas, and Jamaica. The experience reinforced the enduring values of Delta Sigma Theta and the importance of continuing our legacy of sisterhood, scholarship, service and social action.

The Kilgore Alumnae Chapter extends heartfelt congratulations to newly elected Southwest Regional Director Soror Nicole Taylor and Southwest Regional Representative Soror Kaleigh Fleming. We look forward to supporting their leadership as they guide the Southwest Region into its next chapter!

The 50th Southwest Regional Conference was truly a celebration of love, leadership, and legacy, leaving the members of the Kilgore Alumnae Chapter inspired, energized, and ready to continue making a lasting impact in our communities♥️✨
