Sea ice is more than just frozen water; it's essential habitat for countless Arctic species and plays a vital role in regulating our planet's climate. 

For polar bears, sea ice is their hunting ground. They rely on it to travel, find food and raise their young. As the Arctic continues to warm, sea ice forms later and melts earlier, giving polar bears less time to hunt and making survival increasingly difficult.
