Not every home renovation project goes according to plan… and ours definitely didn’t. 😂

From choosing the wrong paint colors to installing tile that wasn’t even made for a floor, we’ve made more than a few mistakes while renovating this house. Looking back, I wouldn’t change the journey because every project helped me figure out my interior design style.

If you’re planning a home renovation or searching for home design inspiration, here’s your reminder that the “before” isn’t always pretty… and that’s okay.

We’re still renovating, and the bedroom transformation is officially next. I have a feeling it’s going to be one of my favorite rooms yet. 🤎
