Meet our wonderful new Student Rep to the Board, Laura Reed!

Laura is completing her final year as an honors student in Interior Design at Dakota County Technical College. She received her Bachelor’s in Communications from the University of Minnesota, but always knew that a career in design was her true calling. She recently started as a Junior Interior Designer at Chirigos Designs and is excited to learn and grow. She is incredibly inspired by her DCTC instructors Anne Painter and Gina Atkinson, and their support for their students.

Laura is a lover of color, mixing patterns, animals and fostering, and experimenting with fashion.

Laura is honored to serve as a non-traditional student representative for ASID and hopes to inspire others to follow their passions.
