Our Mallorca town house tour part II & 10 things we would do the same again (scroll down)

One of the biggest reasons we fell in love with this home was the outdoor space. 🫶🏻🥹This is one of our three terraces, and it’s honestly become one of our favorite places to spend time. When we bought the house, the terrace wasn’t being used much but our friends raiz.reforma transformed it into the perfect little oasis.

Now it has a plunge pool, an outdoor shower, a BBQ and outdoor kitchen, plenty of shade, and cozy corners where we can relax all year round in the Spanish sun.
We couldn’t be happier with how it’s turned out.

Part three is coming soon: the kids’ play area and our first-floor terrace for coffee mornings, meditation & journaling, maybe a sauna soon? We can’t wait to show you. 🤍

10 things we’d absolutely do again when designing our outdoor space:

1. Prefabricated plunge pool that got installed – Affordable, easy to install, and the perfect size for cooling off.
2. Outdoor shower – We use it every day, especially during the summer.
3. Outdoor kitchen – No more running downstairs while cooking or entertaining.
4. Large seating area – Perfect for hosting family and friends.
5. Quality BBQ – We’ve used it far more than we expected.
6. Plenty of shade – An absolute must if you live somewhere hot like Spain.
7. Bathroom + utility room upstairs – So practical for long days outside and keeps the main house clutter-free.
8. Dedicated kids’ play area – A safe space for the kids to play while we’re nearby.
9. Outdoor projector – Movie nights under the stars are always a highlight.
10. Second outdoor fridge – Keeps drinks and BBQ essentials close by without constant trips downstairs.
