This week's issue is chocked full of stories, events and activities at the Great Place and beyond that matter to our troops and their families:
Fort Cavazos said "Howdy Y'all" to Soldiers, family members and civilians during the biannual event that welcomes those new to the installation and helps others moving on from the Great Place. The Full Scale exercise saw Fort Cavazos and community organizations coordinate to simulate a real time active shooter scenario, implementing policies and procedures to prepare for a real life situation. The DES Drone Team rose to the occasion, performing two life saving missions and reiterating the importance of technology in the military. And if you're looking for somewhere interesting to go this weekend, look no further than the Museum of Illusions in Austin for an experience that defies reality.
