On Sept. 11, 2001 the USArmy provided significant support to the nation -- Soldiers, civilians and contractors working at the Pentagon rescued and assisted coworkers. In New York City, 8,000 NationalGuard troops were activated to provide traffic control and security, removing debris and establishing shelters for the response team. 

To highlight these efforts the USArmyMuseum has a new virtual exhibit titled "Army Resolve: Looking back at 9/11" where you can explore a selection of art, artifacts and Soldier stories reflecting the Army's experience on Sept. 11, 2001. Check out the virtual exhibit at the link in bio.
