KY SEX OFFENSE REPORTS RISE NEARLY 11%: Kentucky recorded more than 4,500 reported sex offenses in 2025, an increase of nearly 11% from the previous year. 

Advocates say the rise may reflect improved reporting systems and more survivors coming forward, not necessarily an increase in assaults. They also stress that sexual violence remains significantly underreported and encourage survivors to seek support.
