THE ART ØF 7Ø-2ØØmm

One of the many questions I get about concert photography is what lens I use for shows and that is my 70-200mm F.4 lens from sonyalpha. Pair that with my Sony A7 III and that’s pretty much the setup I’ve used for the bulk of my concert portfolio. I share this because a lot of times when people want to start concert photography or just photography in general, they worry about if they have the latest camera body or the latest lens and while I’m all for investing in newer gear, you don’t need the latest and newest stuff to get great photos. Most of these photos were shot from the crowd of music festivals and I was able to get some good shots thanks to the 70-200mm f4. The ability to get great shots doesn’t fall on if you have the best gear, it falls on the vision of the photographer themselves and how much hard work you put into the achieving the shots you want.
