MLB teams are rethinking something that was once considered routine: first pitch ⚾

What started as a modest shift by the Philadelphia Phillies — from 7:05 PM to around 6:40 PM — has quickly become a league-wide trend. 

Today, the majority of weeknight games begin before 7 PM, up from just 42% in 2021 to as high as 76% early this season.
