When most people think about Colorado, they picture climbing a 14er or hiking for miles but the truth is, there are activities here for everyone. 
 
🚠 Telluride Gondola
Ride one of the most scenic gondolas in the country, for free.
Every cabin can be slowed or stopped for easier boarding, with ramps to accommodate wheelchairs and strollers.
 
🦬 Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge
Take the free Wildlife Drive and see bison, deer, prairie dogs and more without leaving your car. Stop at the Visitor Center for accessible trail recommendations. St. Mary’s Loop is one of my favorites.
 
🌄 Mount Blue Sky Scenic Byway
Drive the highest paved road in North America for incredible alpine views and wildlife.
Pro tip: Reservations are generally required during the day, but vehicles entering before 8:00 a.m. do not need one (always check current rules before you go).
 
🌼 Crested Butte
Wildflower season is peaking right now!
Drive to Umbrella Bar for sweeping views, or enjoy the wide, relatively gentle Lower Loop near Peanut Lake.
 
🫎 Rocky Mountain National Park
There are several accessible trails and overlooks in this National Park.
We stopped at Lily Lake after hearing alot of recent reports of moose sightings and saw two moose here!
 
The outdoors should be for everyone and sometimes the best adventure is simply finding a place that meets you where you are.
