Sources told The Athletic on Thursday afternoon that the match between the Chicago Fire and the Whitecaps has been postponed due to unsafe air quality.

The match was set to take place in Chicago at Soldier Field at 7:30 p.m. PT.

Currently in the Windy City, the US Air Quality rating is sitting at 388. Anything over 300 is considered hazardous to human health.
