tomholland2013 早前登上《The Tonight Show》節目宣傳新戲，在節目中自爆早前在摩納哥大獎賽期間，曾DM球星 erling 邀約吃飯，結果被完全無視！他笑稱這是演員需要的「謙卑體驗」，官方隨後把這段訪問放到IG上，結果引來本尊親自回應，解釋自己當時根本不認識對方名字，才會沒回覆，更在下面留言：「飯局接受！雖然晚了點😅 地方你定！」，這段新的友誼來得正是時候！
