If you love wildlife, Mount Blue Sky is a MUST-visit this summer. 📸

As you climb the highest paved road in North America, you’ll leave the trees behind and enter a stunning alpine tundra. 

This unique ecosystem is home to: 
- Mountain Goats: Often seen right on the road! 
- Bighorn Sheep: Colorado’s state animal. 
- Pikas: Tiny, squeaky residents of the rocky terrain. 
- Marmots: Medium-sized squeaky sunbathers. 
- Summit Lake: The highest city park in the U.S. with rare wildflowers found nowhere else! 

Ancient history: You’ll pass through the Mount Goliath Natural Area, home to Bristlecone Pine trees that are over 1,600 years old!🌲
