Last week, Richmond Champion took his final ride as a professional rodeo athlete and somehow wrote the perfect ending. A 90-point ride at the Calgary Stampede. That’s the kind of finish every cowboy dreams about, but very few attain.

richmondchampion’s resumé speaks for itself: 9-time National Finals Rodeo qualifier, winner of the inaugural American Rodeo and its historic $1 million bonus, nearly $2 million in career earnings, back-to-back Calgary Stampede champion, and one of the most accomplished and pure bareback riders of his generation.

But to us at Turtlebox, Richmond will always be something more. He was one of the first rodeo athletes to wear the Turtlebox logo across his chest.
