As we begin turning our attention toward our next fundraiser, we wanted to pause for a moment and once again say thank you to everyone who supported our inaugural Edmonton Huskies Golf Classic at Legends Golf & Country Club. 

What we witnessed that day was far more than a golf tournament. 

It was alumni reconnecting with teammates. Players spending time with supporters. Local businesses stepping up for local athletes. Volunteers giving their time. Families, fans, and community members coming together around a program that has been part of Edmonton for more than 70 years. 

The Edmonton Huskies have always been bigger than football, and days like that are a reminder of just how special this community truly is.

To everyone who golfed, sponsored, volunteered, donated, promoted, or simply showed up to support us — thank you. You didn't just support a golf tournament. You supported opportunities for young men to chase their football dreams, develop as leaders, and become positive members of our community. 

The first Huskies Golf Classic is in the books, and because of this incredible community, it certainly won't be the last.
