We live in a culture that loves to judge what it hasn’t studied, yet desperately seeks validation for lifestyles it hasn't truly mastered.

Say the word "spirituality," and people instantly shrug it off as blind faith or New Age trends. It’s wild how easily Western minds dismiss centuries of deep philosophical mastery (like the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, where it takes decades of rigorous discipline just to teach) all while being entirely consumed by stress and the chaos of their own unexamined emotions.

Instead of looking inward, people outward-project. We treat human ideologies and modern politics with the exact same dogmatic fervor as old religions. It’s the same trap, just wearing a different outfit.

We see the same illusion in how people approach modern relationships. There’s this trend of claiming the spiritual "elevation" to manage polyamory or multiple parallel lives, pretending to be a detached, enlightened being who isn't affected by mixing energies with so many people. But you become what you interact with. It’s easy to claim you've "worked through it all" until you’re triggered by the most basic daily inconveniences. Losing your temper over the small things while claiming you can constructively manage complex emotional webs isn't enlightenment, it's a lack of basic self-regulation driven by a need for recognition.

True strength of character doesn’t change its shape depending on who is watching. The philosophy of "wherever you go, do as they do" isn't adaptability; it’s a lack of core values and a mind easily swayed by others.

True spirituality isn’t a performance for acceptance. It’s a radical inward gaze. It’s mastering your reactions, honoring your commitments, and understanding that what you feed with your thoughts becomes your reality. Before trying to elevate yourself above the human experience, focus on being a balanced, grounded human being.

Don't do to others what you wouldn't want done to you. The work starts, and ends, within.

Integrity and setting clear and honest boundaries is key to build a healthy society, which I strive to do.. for my daughter 😉
