He created the world’s longest Tibetan calligraphy scroll.

To bring greater attention to Tibetan calligraphy as an art form, Jamyang Dorjee Chakrishar (@jamyangchakrishar) created a 165-meter (541-foot) scroll—the longest Tibetan calligraphy scroll in the world. The project helped bring Tibetan calligraphy into the spotlight.

Although Tibetan script has existed since the seventh century, Jamyang saw an opportunity to elevate it beyond its traditional role as writing and share its artistic beauty with new audiences.
